Food: 3.5 Service: 4.5 Came by for a Tuesday 7 pm dinner. No problem getting a table. We ordered bread even though at a cost ($9.95). We also ordered their basic prime ribeye and truffle fries. Food came out timely and at the right temperature. The chopped salad was fine. Steak was good but did not taste like a USDA Prime cut. To me, it tasted more like a USDA Choice cut at best.

I love this place. I've only been twice but it's my number one suggestion for a nice steakhouse in Vegas if anyone asks. Service is always fantastic & so is the food. The restaurant itself is really beautiful too. Recommendations: Lobster bisque Steak Crab cake Mushroom side dish

Within Caesar's Palace, you'll find Old Homestead Steakhouse. As someone originally from Chicago (land of the OG steakhouses), I felt right at home in this classy joint. This purveyor of classic steaks had top-notch service and the menu offered a great selection of high-quality steaks, sides, and appetizers. All food options were truly that traditional steakhouse style and feel. Take a minute to picture in your mind what you'd an imagine a place called Old Homestead Steakhouse would look like inside...and you got it. An epitome of the environment and food you'd expect. Bonus points: Their napkins have different cut names on them. Funny and cute. They're known for their $40 burger. It's pricey but it comes with fries, people! hahaha, on the real though, it has a dry aged patty that is thick and to die for, melty cheddar cheese and caramelized onions. Very tasty burger indeed and I had leftovers. My friend and I also shared the 16oz Prime Dry-Aged Ribeye ($85) which was a solid steak with all the proper sauces. We finished our meal with the $14 Big Fat Chocolate Cake that was out of this world! So much As a chocolate creme, cake and ganache. This made for a great late night snack with the leftovers. Vegas baby! If you're looking for a classic steakhouse experience in Las Vegas, Old Homestead is definitely that! Get that cake!

Best ribeye I've ever had! Jon was our server and he was excellent on keeping drinks full and clearing plates as they became empty. It was my daughters 21st birthday so I brought in candles and asked the hostess to please make sure the server brought out dessert. I assumed the staff would sing happy birthday, but to our disappointment, they didn't. Jon sat the cake in front of her, lit the candle, and said, "I'm not singing," but here's a cake! ‍ Kinda odd but it was the end of the night so maybe the staff just wanted us gone! Great food!

Was looking to celebrate the close of 2022 and prior to getting on a 3 week trip to Asia, decided to hit up a steakhouse. I was looking for a spot that had slots open for a 5 pm-ish dinner and after a bit of circling, I found Old Homestead which had been on my list to try for a while. Made the reservation and headed over for it on a Friday. Just a quick heads up that on Friday and Saturday, this place opens at 4:30 PM which I personally found handy as I feel most of the places that are open pre 5 pm are a bit more "meh" as it relates to vegas steakhouses. Made our way over for the pre-5 PM dinner and was promptly greeted by the host. Promptly seated thereafter and quickly handed menus by a cheerful and attentive server. Ordered a few scotches and after looking at the menu decided to go with the old homestead signature meatball, split a French onion soup with my dinner companion for the evening, and went with the 38 oz tomahawk ribeye to share with mac and cheese as a side. The food came out at good pace here and the service continued to be attentive throughout the meal. The meatball came out (big meatball in the center) and it was good texture and flavors. The French onion soup came out and I appreciated that they split it into two bowls . Again good flavors and wasn't overly salty. The ribeye and mac and cheese came out and all good presentation. The lobster mac and cheese was just OK in my books. Lacked a bit of flavor and the lobster portions were pretty negligible to call it a lobster mac and cheese. The ribeye steak was cooked well and to the temperature asked. Overall pretty solid and probably in line with what you expect on the strip. All in all, a good meal and a solid place to grab steak and will be in line with "strip" steakhouses. Glad to have tried it and good to know there is an option for solid steak pre 5 pm on Friday and Saturday.

Came here for a nice little dinner since I had a $100 celebration dinner through Caesar's Diamond Rewards & it was amazing! We started off with the seafood tower, which is perfect for the two of us. I also opted for the Old Fashion to sip on during dinner which was very good & full of aromatics. We shared the American Wagyu, which was just enough for the two of us. In addition, we also got the lobster Mac & cheese, mushrooms & truffle mashed potatoes as sided to share. The lobster Mac & cheese was so cheesy & had nice pieces of lobster & pasta was cooked well. Mushrooms were a nice touch & had a semi sweet & saltiness to it & the truffle mashed potatoes were my favorite! We could've just had 2 sides to share, but the sides are definitely good for 2-3 people. Did not have room for dessert, though it sounded delicious. Ambiance was very nice. Fine dining, yet I felt the music playing in the background was a bit loud. Server was attentive, but the busser did more work, though it wasn't busy as we went when it first opened since we had to catch a 730p Magic Show at Mirage. I'd love to return & hope it stays open.

One of the best steak places we've been to in many years! My husband had surf and turk, while I had the veggie lasagna dish. My mouth is watering for it again. The food is worth the total we paid. Great service and friendly manager! Caters to all pocket books and doesn't discriminate. We recommended to our daughter and Son-in-law for their date night while in Vegas for military deployment. They shared the surf and turf with baked potato! They loved it as well.

I love the restaurant!! Great service, waiters are attentive, a good selection of steaks and seafood, fast reservations, and fast service! I was promptly seated and the menu was given to me, and started off with some water. I went with the diver scallops and lobster mac and cheese. They both came out fast, to my surprise, all within 10 mins! Granted, there wasn't too many people at the time I went - it was an hour before closing! The scallops were fresh and tasty, the portion wasn't very big tho. The lobster mac and cheese on the other hand - was the best lobster mac and cheese I've ever had! Cheesy, gooey, the fresh lobster pieces goes perfect with it! You betcha I'm coming back!
